House portraits are often commissioned as closing gifts after a real estate transaction. What I try to capture is the personality of the house and a sense of the environment and atmosphere in which it exists.

Many of my early work was portraiture. The human image is both challenging and compelling. Making a good portrait is a very satisfying artistic experience.
